Prayer to Release Forgiveness

This is a prayer modified from the ERASE:5-step Method on Inner Healing & Deliverance.

You can also view the original document here if you want to focus on inner healing.

(Last Part)

In the name of Jesus, I now bind all gatekeepers and evil spirits that is in me or around me and my bloodline. I declare you are now discovered, apprehended, pierced through and send to where the true Lord Jesus is for judgement. I command the spirit of cancer, the spirit of bitterness, spirit of unforgiveness, spirit of rage, spirit of murder, spirit of hatred, spirit of violence, spirit of anger, spirit of resentment all to get out right now in Jesus’s name and can never return again!

Thank you Lord for this freedom.

In Jesus’s name I pray, amen.

**Since everyone is broken to varying degrees, the above prayers can be performed separately for each event, repeating the same process each time.

This is a VERY important step. Wait and let God reveal to you. You can ask God how did unforgiveness and bitterness enter your bloodline, what happened, etc… just talk!

Personal

God may first show you the people that ever hurt you personally. If any scenario or names pop up, don’t rationalize it. Process them one by one.

Step 1:

You can first acknowledge and release your emotions to God as you recall what happened. Vent and cry to God if you want.

And you can pray like:

“I release my feelings of being disrespected / hurt / sorrow / xxxxxx to You God. I let it go. I let it go.”

Step 2:

Invite the Holy Spirit to bring you back to the memory again and ask Jesus, “where were You?”

Close your eyes and take a deep breath. Wait on the Lord to tell you (or show you).

You may pay attention to any feelings and visions appear in your head. You don’t have to rush, just take your time to wait on God.

During the process, you can talk to Jesus and ask him questions until you feel at peace in your heart.

Step 3:

Release forgiveness.

If you really can’t do it, release your thoughts and emotion further to God. Talk it out. You can even ask Him to help you.

Forgiveness is a choice. So even when your heart is not ready, try to declare it first! Then things will start to shift!

When you’re able, declare:

“I forgive (person’s name /myself) .”

Step 4:

I understand your heart might still be hurting as you declare. Now continue to pray this:

“Father, I thank You for the deliverance and healing you have done for me today. I enter your gates with thanksgiving and your courts with praise (Psalm 100:4). I praise you for your power and great glory.

In the name of Jesus, I command all the fragments of my heart and soul in any dimension to be released and returned.

Jesus, I ask You to send angels to help me retrieve these fragments of my heart and soul. (Please wait a moment to allow time for the angels to act.)

As the fragments are returning, I apply the blood of Jesus, living water and the light of Jesus on them, to cleanse all defilement, to wipe away all painful memories and scars, and to restore all happy memories.

I ask the Holy Spirit to integrate these fragments in my heart and soul with your anointing oil, so that I can be made complete in Christ (Colossians 2:10). I anoint the wounds of my heart with the healing balm of Gilead (Jeremiah 8:22). Jesus, I ask You to heal my brokenheart and hurts.

In the name of Jesus, I also destroy and erase all copies, duplicates, replicas, records, histories, books, servers, hard drives, cloud drives, data, and memories of my heart and soul fragments in the kingdom of darkness, so that no species can use my painful past to threaten me. In the name of Jesus, I speak the Holy fire to consume them.

I further close all doors, known and unknown, visible and invisible, declaring them completely closed in the name of Jesus. I apply this entire confession to all timelines, age, realm, and dimension, past, present, and future, to infinity. Amen.”

After this, it is likely that you would feel much more grounded and at peace.

When trauma happens, our heart and soul would break. The devil loves to steal our soul fragments and torture us with that. Forgiveness is the key to retrieve what the enemy has stolen.

So forgiveness is really about restoring your wholeness. When your heart and soul is healed, the healing will be manifested to the body.

Now after you’ve done releasing forgiveness, let’s continue this last bit of prayer in this section. (after the blue box)

Ancestral

If God showed you about things that happened among your ancestors, do not go to your family members and confront them about it.

Just trust Him and say: “Thank you Father for showing me this. Now on behalf of (family member), I release forgiveness to (another person).”

Now after you’ve done releasing forgiveness, let’s continue this last bit of prayer in this section.

Prayer:

Father in Heaven,

I come before You in the mighty name of Jesus. I repent on behalf of myself, or my ancestors along my bloodline, throughout all the ages, for opening the door to the spirit of bitterness and unforgiveness, alongside with rage, hatred, murder, violence, anger and resentment. I ask You to reveal through Your Holy Spirit to me, if there is any specific matter I should repent.
